08 September 2021 | PDF | 185kb

In this position paper DOT Europe states its support for the AI Act’s objectives, namely to create a harmonised framework for AI at the European level that protects consumers and fundamental rights while creating conditions for investment and innovation in the AI sector. We also put forward some suggestions on how the co-legislators can improve the text, for example providing clearer and more focused definitions, avoiding impractical provisions on training datasets and establishing modalities for amending the definition of high-risk AI.
